The word “lingual” refers to the surface at the back of the teeth, and that’s where Incognito™ Braces are placed. They are the only behind-the-teeth braces that are 100% customised to the shape of your teeth and to your individual orthodontic treatment.
During orthodontic treatment, we want to ensure our patients are as comfortable and pain free as possible. For this reason, each bracket is custom made to fit each patient. This ensures that the brackets are designed to fit seamlessly amongst your teeth, patients should not find lingual braces to be uncomfortable. Some patients do find some slight discomfort immediately after treatment, however this is quickly nullified as the tongue adjusts to the orthodontic device.
Much the same as traditional braces, Incognito™ lingual braces are able to provide a solution to a range of orthodontic problems. With the use of lingual braces, issues such as gaps, tooth crowding and misaligned bites can all be corrected.
